Green Deal Advisory Group

The Green Deal Advisory Group (GDAG) is an over-arching group, established to consider key strategic themes and issues affecting the Green Deal. The GDAG brings together a broad range of key stakeholders including representatives from Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Scottish and Welsh Government, energy suppliers, the Green Deal finance companies and the Green Deal stakeholder fora.

The GDAG members discuss cross-cutting issues affecting the Green Deal and make recommendations to DECC in relation to the Green Deal regulatory framework, including the Green Deal Code of Practice and other key scheme documents, as well as recommendations on the long-term development of the Green Deal. The Group’s recommendations to DECC are also subject to further consideration by Ministers and other Government Departments.

There are no GDAG meetings currently scheduled.
